As we slide into the holiday season, so too do we slide into that time of year where there are more school holidays. School holidays that mean I have to find something for us to do all day. Jack's school was out all last week. On Tuesday, we headed to Kiddie Acres. I heard from other moms that this place was a lot of fun...and boy was it. Jack was gushing the entire time we were there. The place is small and not much to look at, but I'm kind of in love with it's vintage charm. The rides are perfect for a 3 year old. Jack rode the airplanes, the jeeps, the boats, the ponies, the carousel and the train. His favorite by far was the Ferris Wheel...which surprised me because he has on more than one occasion been terrified of heights. To my surprise, he decided this older boy we don't know was his buddy and the two of them ran amok and conquered the ferris wheel. Jack jumped right in the cage with this new boy and squealed with wild boy-ness when this other boy exclaimed, "Hey Mom. This is real life dangerous!!!"
