After the Nap
We took Jack to one of the SXSW events yesterday. Jack and I spent the afternoon sprawled on the lawn at the French Legation with some friends while Dad stood in the beer line for a LONG time. There were babies everywhere. I love that people in Austin bring their kids to music shows. We were nowhere near the band this time, but in the future we want to get Jack a set of baby ear muffs.
Otherwise, Jack has been a super happy little spaz. This morning he was overly happy to see the soccer ball his uncle gave him. Like he had been missing this ball his whole life. He chased it all over the house for a good 15 minutes. Pretty cute. We've all had 6 straight nights of good sleep. This could be part of why he's so happy. Being sick really screwed up Jack's sleep patterns. Then a trip to Houston where he didn't sleep well. Finally, we're back on the right path.
