Jack and I went to Sears the other day. I went to look at a sewing machine. That's my big upcoming birthday present. Anyway, we stopped by the portrait studio. Every kid needs the ubiquitous Sears portrait. I didn't want to dilute the Sears-ness of it all so I let the photographer choose all the props and poses. I guess Sears is toning it down because our photos weren't stellar nor were they bad. I was hoping for the fake winter wonderland backdrop or something. I'm a sucker and bought several anyway. Maybe next time we'll give JC Pennys a try. Do they still do portraits?
