Jack is feeling better. It looks like his snot nose will clear up without antibiotics. His nose is still running, but not as fast as the rest of him. He had a great time today playing with his grandparents. The stars aligned and they all showed up at the same time. Jack gets bored with just us and loves the extra attention.
It's hella hot here this summer. Shawn and I took Jack to the pool to cool off. He had a great time! Jack loves to go swimming. He got to practice diving off the edge of the pool. He got to practice kicking his legs. He got to practice drinking the water. We try to get him to blow bubbles in the water but no luck. He blows as he gets close to the water, but once he's almost there he opens up and takes a swallow. Gross. The geese were out at Deep Eddy today, so when Jack was not interested in swimming anymore, we chased the geese and the birds. Then, we went out to dinner. Jack pounded a cheese quesadilla after eating a whole baby meal. The kid can eat. He conked out right on time as soon as we got home.
