Summer!

It's been a nice summer this year! Thank God. Last summer was unbearable. We've been busy with camp, swimming, ice cream and lots of craziness. My kids have spent more time running around in their underpants than they have spent dressed. It's hot! So what.







This is how my kids react to swimming. They both LOVE to swim. Jack can really swim this year, and what a difference that has made. Going to the pool use to be completely exhausting. Having two non-swimmers is a huge amount of work for one person. Now, Jack doesn't need much help. He just wants your attention. He's working hard to perfect his cannonball and loves to dive for rockets. Ivy is not afraid of the water. At all. She spends most of her time jumping off the edge in her floatie. We normally have to drag them away from the pool. And they normally conk out in the car after just a few minutes.
