Today was Ivy's first day of school. Not baby school, real school. She's joining her big brother at his Montessori school. The first day was a decided success! Ivy was a little disappointed that she didn't get to eat lunch at school with the big kids. And she was offended that one of the girls called her Jack's LITTLE sister, when we all know she is BIG. But she excitedly told me about snack time (string cheese and almonds), singing songs, playing on the playground and said "I'm happy I'm there".
