January and February proved to be a busy month and one where we’ve been passing around several colds. It’s been hard to find a good moment to sit down and update the blog. So, what is new? We had a great day today. Jack is full of stories and loves to pretend. He especially likes to pretend to be Astroboy or Batman. He flies through the air with his arm out an a terrible grimace. He also likes to play “transformers”. He jumps from the coffee table…or anything yelling “I’m a transformer” as he gets airborne. Ivy is growing into a super cuddly, giggly baby. She loves tummy time. She needs some help to get there but once she’s on her tummy she wiggles and grunts and kicks her legs trying to move around. She also tried her first solid foods. We gave a little rice cereal a try and she ate it UP! I was impressed. Neither of my kids have had any trouble eating. Ivy has a special love for Jack. Whenever he’s around she beams! She chuckles…big belly chuckles at his antics. This morning he did a little dance for her and she was in heaven. Jack loves her and takes special pride in being able to make her happy. Sure, he wants me to “put Ivy back in her room” sometimes (who can blame him), but for the most part he’s very helpful and protective of her. Ok. I’m sure you just want to see photos…I should add that these are all photos of Ivy because Jack told me not to take his picture anymore.
