Our sweet little guy turned 5 yesterday. FIVE. I have real, solid memories of being 5. Nearly all his toddlerness is gone. What's emerged is this goofey, sweet little person who makes us laugh every day. We had Jack's party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He's been asking us to go there since he was two....since before he even knew what it was. He saw that cartoon mouse and knew he wanted to go. Jack was all grins. He had a blast! After the madness we sat quietly at the dining table. Ivy was already asleep, so it was just Mom Dad and Jack. We asked if Chuck E. Cheeses is what he expected it to be. "No.." he said, "It was so good!"
